The food is good, but nothing special to go to if you live too far. Since food is cooked in bulk, some stuff isn't cleaned properly like shrimp. They don't remove the poop. There are a lot of people but there are a lot of places to sit as well. Different places to try food. The dock tour was cool too for a decent price $15 for adults. The vibe has turned into a Mexican city if your OK with that.
San Pedro Fish Market and Restaurant is a great place to go for a weekend brunch / lunch / dinner with family or friends. We came here on August 31, 2019 to eat lunch. This place is like a fish market with outdoor seating where you can sit outside, enjoy the natural beauty and eat brunch / lunch / dinner. Since this place is a fish market, so this place isn’t neat and clean like the other fancy restaurants. In fact, you will experience a fishy smell throughout the time when you will stay there. We ordered Pomfret, Shrimp, Garlic Bread and Spicy Vegetables. The food was okay. It was nothing special but very fresh. The staff was gentle and helpful.
Good food. The wait was quit long. We weren't sure how it worked since it was our first time. Still not sure why there were 2 lines. Figured out we could get fresh, raw fish in 1 line then go to another line where they would cook to order. There were 2 or 3 other lines to order similar plate items to eat, which is where we ordered from. Ordered small mixed cocktail (fish, shrimp & octopus), shrimp fajita platter, fried calamari & a large soda. Everything was delicious. The shrimp fajita platter didn't seem like it had enough shrimp for $39. It had a lot of red potatoes & peppers. The person who took our order was very nice & helpful. We enjoyed it. Would like to go back again when it's less crowded to try something different.
I had to go here since its gonna be closed for about a year. There is lots of parking, and is fully accessible. The selection of fish is totally awesome. The only thing they didn't have was prawns. The side dishes are plenty to choose from, as well for beverages. There is lots of seating both inside and out. The staff is on point and the service is excellent. The portion sizes are huge and delishes. Stop by and get stuffed and satisfied. Good grubbing...
This review is dedicated to our sever, Ruth - we had honestly never had a server attentive like Ruth at any Korean places. Usually it's pretty nice if they don't give you attitude, let alone great service. But Ruth went above and beyond from recommending dishes to teaching us how to eat them one by one. She deserves a 4 stars.
