Harry's has great live music for dancing and just enjoying. The bartenders and waitresses are very nice. The bouncers always have my back which is comforting. They don't miss much. (there can be some interesting characters at times) It's such a popular place that many nights there is little room to maneuver on the dance floor. The bathrooms are well stocked, but are not always attended. There is usually a waiting line as well in the women's restroom. Harry's has quite a few tables and chairs besides the bar, and there are pool tables in a side room. There is normally a door charge, but it's reasonable. Limited Parking, one way streets, and pedestrian flow make parking interesting, however, there is a beach lot one block down. On Wednesday nights, it's not too crowded to be able to enjoy some West Coast Swing, and other dances that require a little more space. A very nice surprise is that Harry's offers free popcorn! It's tasty too Kara is amazing behind the bar... Ask for her famous Tsunami... But look out. čśë

Man oh man, we stepped back in to the 80s bar scene. Fun times. People were great and three 4 all was a good cover band and the beer was cold. What more could you want on a great Sunday In Pismo Beach.

I live a couple blocks from Harry's and I have been there only twice in five years. I find the place off putting. Lots of bikers and tourists. I only go there if nothing else is open. No food to speak of. It is really noisy. The bar at the Inn at the Pier across the street is the way to go for excellent drinks and food. Scotty's on Price is a local fave too. Generally avoid Harry's unless nothing else is open.

Harry's is THE traditional tourist bar in Pismo Beach. We got in there at about 3pm on a Saturday in April (Not even the busy season yet) and it was already busy. There was a band playing and we had a drink... We left for a little rest in our hotel and some dinner. We came back at 7pm and it was already full seating... and the next band didn't even BEGIN, until 9. The place was full and ROCKIN', the entire rest of the night, till closing time. They had a cover band that played a full night of music and I pretty much dug everything they played! Go hit Harry's... but be ready to PARTY!

Best bar for great dancing and music and the awesome staff they have are what makes the bar so welcoming for anyone visiting the central Coast! Awesome bands come through! And their karoke night on Thursday's 9pm_ 1am is amazing fun.
